New Encinitas
Tub to shower conversion in New Encinitas
New Encinitas is the common name for the neighborhoods east of El Camino Real, built later than the cottage streets at the beach.
This is an independent referral guide. It connects homeowners with independent providers and may receive compensation. It is not a licensed contractor and it does not do the work.
Tract baths and a city permit
Master baths here are often large enough for a low curb or a flush entry if the floor can be detailed. Hall baths with a tub next to a hallway door are the ones that need a careful layout.
These streets are still the City of Encinitas. They are not the Coastal Bluff Overlay as a group. Confirm the parcel anyway if someone claims a coastal permit is required for an interior shower.
Describe the bath
Say Leucadia, Cardiff, Olivenhain, or New Encinitas, and whether you want a curb.
